Leviathan’s job is to create defensive machines to help humanity survive no matter what. So what’s with all of this dinosaur and mech fighting in the first place? Well, that has to do with an AI known as Leviathan. For right now, I was content to fight off tidal waves of dinosaurs and aid my fellow pilots in serving combat data for a mad artificial intelligence in the streets of an urban sprawl. Capcom gave us a taste of what was to come in this PvPvE mecha-versus-dinosaurs multiplayer title and by the time it ended, I was left not only wanting to get back to the action, but also wanting to explore more of what Exoprimal will offer in the whole package.
Barrage can leap up into the air and bombard enemies with its intense firepower from above, while Vigilant is the assault class that can use a rail gun to snipe enemies from afar.One of Exoprimal’s first Closed Network Tests has come and gone, but the impression it left was quite fascinating. Why are you doing all of this? Well, the Aibius Corporation created the artificial intelligence Leviathan, and it seems to have gone a little bit off the rails… now throwing humans into the fight to try and figure out how they can survive.Ī part of that comes from the two exosuits that have been revealed, giving players different classes and roles. There’s also something called a Carnage Module, which will face you off against an almost unstoppable onslaught of dinosaurs. These include Dinosaur Cull to cleave through hordes of dinos, VTOL defence where you hold a position, Data Key Security, Omega Charge, and Energy Taker. The main game mode in Exoprimal is called Dino Survival, in which two teams of exosuit-wearing players venture into a ravaged world and try to complete v arious objectives before the other team can.
